SBS suspensions are made of thermoplastic rubber, characterized by increased elasticity, as you can see in the videos below. It helps to mitigate the impact by cushioning when the bed frame is subjected to weight. It is mounted on their struts by being fixed on the bolts (click here) by pressing. The ideal supports for slats with a width of 38 mm are available in several colors and sizes, their role being to ensure increased comfort. The narrowest ones of 3.5 cm are used on the central spar of the bed frame, being fixed on both sides of it, while the medium supports of 5 cm and the widest ones of 6.5 cm are mounted on the outer spars.

The slats are made by industrial processing of the treated beech log. Beech is a hardwood, the most qualitative and weight-resistant, compared to birch, poplar or others. The lamellas are formed by pressing sheets of technical veneer at a high temperature, after first passing them through an adhesive. Thus, the lamellae become elastic, and even if they flex slightly under the action of weight, they return to their original shape when they are no longer subject to weight. The slats are available in the natural color of the wood, but also colored (silver, carbon, mahogany, red, blue), for those with a width of 3.8 cm and 0.8 cm. An antistatic carbon film is attached to the surface of the colored slats, which has the role of eliminating electromagnetic waves and rejecting radiation. The stiffness adjustment sliders are made of a rubberized and very resistant plastic. It is mounted on the slats of the mattress in the lumbar area, to adjust their stiffness. By moving the sliders closer, the lamellae become more elastic and flexible, while moving them away towards the extremities, the lamellae become stiffer, harder. They are available for 3.8 cm and 6.8 cm wide slats.
